Surface Lots: We offer free parking in surface lots in front of the hospital’s main entrance, west entrance, and the east entrance. Parking is also available in front of the rehab building, the clinics, and our Ambulatory Care Center.

Emergency Room: Patients visiting our 24/7 Emergency Room are welcome to park in the spaces in front of the emergency room or in any of our surface lots.

Spiritual Care: Our interfaith chapel is open 24/7 and is located on the third floor of the hospital near the Family Unit Waiting Room.
ATM: An ATM is located on the 1st floor of the Hospital in the lobby.

Medical Records: Your record is always available to you to view, download and share in your MyOchsner patient portal account. To obtain copies of the medical record outside of MyOchsner, the patient's written authorization must be signed and dated, and must include the name and address of the individual who is to receive the copies of the record, the information requested and the treatment dates. Language Services: Language services are available to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 1-833-896-6586. Additionally, your care team may request in-person or virtual interpreter support during a visit for both Limited English Proficiency and Deaf/Hard of Hearing patients.
Visually impaired services
All elevators and many other public areas have Braille signage to assist those with visual impairments. We can also provide you with an audio recording of patient rights and responsibilities, advanced directives, and the Ochsner mission statement.

Patient & Provider Advocacy: The Patient and Provider Advocacy department serves as intermediary for patients on issues like advance directives, HIPAA, and requests (appointments, medication refills, etc.). Patient and Provider Advocacy also supports Ochsner’s compliance with Patient Rights & Responsibilities, provides policy interpretation and advice on institutional practices. Located on the LJCMC campus but in a separate building from the main hospital, the S&S Cajun Way offers affordable hot meals, sandwiches, and snacks.

There are vending machines located on the first floor in the main lobby as well as near the emergency room.
