Jena Parking Garage: We offer free garage parking in the Jena Garage for patients and visitors coming for clinic visits and other appointments in the McFarland Medical Plaza and Napoleon Medical Plaza (bridge access to both buildings on floor 2). Patient parking is available on the second floor and above.
Valet parking is available on the second floor.
The garage can be accessed from Claiborne Avenue via Jena Street or Napoleon Avenue via Clara Street.
Handicap parking is located next to all the garage elevators
Wheelchairs are available on the second floor near valet parking.
Magnolia Garage Parking: Parking is also available in the Magnolia Garage for patients and visitors coming for procedures and surgeries in the Magnolia Building and for planned admissions or to visit a patient in the hospital.
Surface lots: Surface parking is available in front the Magnolia Building on Jena Street and the Imaging Center on the corner of Napoleon Avenue and Clara Street.
Emergency Room: Patients visiting our 24/7 Emergency Room are welcome to park in the Jena Garage or in the ample street parking along Clara Street or Napoleon Avenue.

Spiritual Care: Chaplains provide sensitive spiritual support for patients, families, and staff from all different faith backgrounds. Please ask your care team if you would like a chaplain visit.
ATMs: An ATM is located on the second floor in the Hospital lobby.
Information: Our Guest Services team is available on site in both the McFarland Medical Plaza lobby near PJs as well as immediately inside the front entrance to the Hospital on Clara Street.

Medical Records: Your record is always available to you to view, download and share in your MyOchsner patient portal account. To obtain copies of the medical record outside of MyOchsner, the patient's written authorization must be signed and dated, and must include the name and address of the individual who is to receive the copies of the record, the information requested and the treatment dates. Language Services: Language services are available to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 1-833-896-6586. Additionally, your care team may request in-person or virtual interpreter support during a visit for both Limited English Proficiency and Deaf/Hard of Hearing patients.
Visually impaired services
All elevators and many other public areas have Braille signage to assist those with visual impairments. We can also provide you with an audio recording of patient rights and responsibilities, advanced directives, and the Ochsner mission statement.

Patient & Provider Advocacy: The Patient and Provider Advocacy department serves as intermediary for patients on issues like advance directives, HIPAA, and requests (appointments, medication refills, etc.). Patient and Provider Advocacy also supports Ochsner’s compliance with Patient Rights & Responsibilities, provides policy interpretation and advice on institutional practices. We know it can be inconvenient and uncomfortable for family members who have a loved
one in the hospital, especially those living out of the area. The full-service Alder Hotel next to our Ochsner Baptist camps offers comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. It is connected by a climate-controlled walkway to the clinic and hospital. All guest rooms are furnished with a flat screen television, and in-room refrigerator and microwave.

New Orleans’ favorite, PJ’s Coffee, is served in all our dining locations and the dedicated PJ’s Coffee Shop is open on the second floor of the McFarland Medical Plaza first floor of the Atrium Tower Monday through Friday 7am-5:30pm. Choose from coffee, tea, specialty coffee drinks, and a light sandwich or pastry.

Our certified optical staff can help you find a new look or upgrade your lenses. Located in the heart of New Orleans, Ochsner Baptist is home to the Women’s Pavilion and additional health centers offering both routine and specialized obstetric and gynecological services, state of the art labor and delivery floor including an alternative birthing center, and a level IV NICU. Other clinic services and procedures available on this campus include a laser vision center, primary care, urology, back and spine, pain management, a state-of-the-art imaging center and full-service emergency room.
