Surface lots: There are several accessible parking options for you to choose from when you visit our Academic Medical Center, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, Ambulatory Care Center, and other facilities near our main campus at Kings Highway and Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. These include:

  • Valet and patient parking at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center and the Ambulatory Care Center

  • Free parking across from the Academic Medical Center on Kings Highway and on the corner of Linwood Avenue and Jennings Street

  • Patient parking lots in front of and behind our Ambulatory Care Center

  • Handicap parking is available in all surface lots and wheelchairs are available inside all entrances.

Spiritual Care: Our interfaith chapel is open 24/7 and is located in the back of the hospital on the first floor next to day surgery. If you’d like a visit from our chaplains between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m., please ask your care team or call our office at 318-626-4078.

ATM: An ATM is located on the ground floor of the Hospital in the lobby by the cafeteria.

Information: Our two information desks are located at the front and back entrances of the hospital on the first floor and are open seven days a week, 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Main Number: To be connected to any department, all patient rooms, or to get information on specific visiting hours before you arrive, please call 318-626-0000 or dial 0 from inside the hospital.

Medical Records: Your record is always available to you to view, download and share in your MyOchsner patient portal account. To obtain copies of the medical record outside of MyOchsner, the patient's written authorization must be signed and dated, and must include the name and address of the individual who is to receive the copies of the record, the information requested and the treatment dates. Language Services: Language services are available to patients by calling 844-223-8050. Additionally, your care team may request in-person or virtual interpreter support during a visit for both Limited English Proficiency and Deaf/Hard of Hearing patients.

Visually impaired services

All elevators and many other public areas have Braille signage to assist those with visual impairments. We can also provide you with an audio recording of patient rights and responsibilities, advanced directives, and the Ochsner mission statement.

Patient & Provider Advocacy: ​​​The Patient and Provider Advocacy department serves as intermediary for patients on issues like advance directives, HIPAA, and requests (appointments, medication refills, etc.). Patient and Provider Advocacy also supports Ochsner’s compliance with Patient Rights & Responsibilities​, provides policy interpretation and advice on institutional practices. Cafeteria

Located on the ground floor of the main Academic Medical Center building, across from the credit union, our cafeteria is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner:

Hours:

  • Breakfast: 6:30-10:00 a.m.

  • Lunch: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Limited menu, Grill only: 2-4 p.m.

  • Dinner: 4-7 p.m., Grill only 7-10 p.m.

WOW Café

Located on the ground floor of the main Academic Medical Center building next to the BRI Atrium, the WOW Café serves a variety of breakfast sandwiches, danishes, and muffins for breakfast and a lunch menu of made-to-order hot and cold sandwiches and wraps. In addition, you can enjoy PJ’s fresh-brewed coffees and specialty drinks.

The Market at ACC

Located on the ground floor of the Ambulatory Care Center building next to the main entrance, the Market at ACC serves daily soup options, fresh-made sandwiches and salads and hot-off-the-grill sandwiches, as well as your favorite convenience items.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-4 p.m. *closed on major holidays
